I created this blog to track my experiences mostly in the kitchen, but also as I go through life as a young adult! At 23 years old, I have graduated from NC State, moved back to where I grew up, and am working for a golf school. I played on the women's golf team all four years in school, and am lucky to now have a job in the golf industry!

I have always had a passion for anything sweet, I really didn't choose to, it's just always been that way. I love being in the kitchen and trying new recipes. Mostly, I love making these recipes for other people and seeing their enjoyment :). 

I have a great family that is very close, but big! I have an older brother, Jace, younger brother, Penn and younger sister Julia. We're all very close in age, so I have to thank my parents for doing everything possible to keep 4 kids happy.

My boyfriend, Chris, and I have been dating for almost 4 years. We met when I was a freshman and he was a sophomore. He played tennis in college and is still playing today! After 4 years, He is still a toughie when it comes to trying new food. Pizza, pasta, rice, chicken, cheesesteak, cheesecake, arnold palmer and gatorade...hey, he knows what he likes :). He may be a picky eater, but he is a sweetheart!

 

Chris and I have the most adorable dog, Zoey. She's the sweetest, craziest, loudest, big dog persona little Morkie (maltese-yorkie) you'll ever meet.  

Jack is my family dog, and after going through his puppy stages around Zoey, he likes to think he is her size. He's a golden retriever and it's not pleasant when he tries to jump on you and greet you like his pal Zoey does.
